DEAN - instagram (Fan-made M/V)
Ever since I first heard this song, I've always wanted to make a video on it. Whether it be a music video, a cinematic video, or any random thing that came to mind, I wanted to incorporate this song because it stuck home to me. This was an idea that first started 2 years ago but never got the chance to reach the final product until now. I am super proud of this because I was able to challenge myself in trying new things and attempt a style of shooting I have not done before. I want to do more cinematic stuff in the future and this is the first step in the right direction.
Valorant Bebop (Cowboy Bebop Opening Parody)
I've been playing a lot of Valorant lately and after listening back on the old Cowboy Bebop soundtrack it gave me the idea of combining the two together and completely re-make the Cowboy Bebop opening theme from scratch. This was mostly made from After Effects and the first time making something from scratch like this. My greatest challenges was to keep the essence of the old Cowboy Bebop opening while still adding a bit of uniqueness to this parody. The response received from the Valorant community made me love this project even more and I am super proud so many people love it.
2020 Range Rover Evoque Commercial Edit
I found out about this challenge not too long ago and decided to give it a try to see how it goes. I focused a lot on the theme and the sound design of this edit as I have not tried immersive commercials before so it became a real challenge at one point. Overall, I am really happy with the final look of it even though it pushed past the 60 second mark. I am glad I participated.
Soccer Music Video
In celebration of the World Cup, I wanted to bring back an old series that I started way back when I first started editing videos, and that was Good Shepherd Legends! This was a series that was just us playing soccer in a neighborhood field and see how many times we can hit the cross bar , but now it is back with the old crew with something a bit different. I heard this Joga Bonito song so long ago, and the idea popped in my head to make a cover video of us playing the imaginary instruments and beats, while playing soccer like we’re the old Brazilian world cup team. And thus, became the final product of what our friendship really is about.
My friends went to Japan without me (Funny Moments)
In 2017, I was invited to join a group of friends to Japan, but unfortunately could not afford the round trip. Alternatively, I offered my small G7X camera to them to film everything they could possibly find and that I would edit a fun video for them. What came back that summer was 128 GB of pure video content that I sat and watched in its entirety for days but enjoyed every single minute of it. As a result, I tried to fit everything I found really cool into a fun montage later that year. Two years later, I found that there was too much content left unused on that hard drive that the world needs to see, resulting in a two-part video of all the funny moments they had during their trip. It was my first time editing in this style but in a way it was a canvas of all things I could experiment on and I experimented a lot in these videos. But, I learned a lot and I cannot wait for the next time I am in Japan myself to see what I can create.
Valorant Eve Montage
I had many Valorant clips from playing with friends, that I decided to make a clean and simple montage with some of the highlights. This video took me back in the Call of Duty montage days and was very nostalgic learning how to make montages again. Looking forward to making more.
